I was fishing the beach just north of johns pass this morning at going on sunup. I had two on before the sun got high enough for me to see. The swash was loaded up with snook. I’d never seen the beach so loaded.

i love fishing the apollo beach sarasota area. i think that the farther south you go down the gulf of mexico the better snook fishing. i love the boca grande area for snook fishing. it by far has a plentiful supply and some great spots. nice post. i really like the layout of the blog.

I live down here near Apollo beach and I would have to agree the fishing has been great. Snook and jack are everywhere!
