Caught some nice ones at jigs landing at Evers Resivoir. Fishing from the bank with bread balls, white grubs, white jigs, fly rod, and trout worms and bait. Caught about 45 above normal keepers but didn't keep any of them becausse the drought had done a number on the population.

I have always wanted to try Evers. Snooker, were you land fishing or from a boat?

gonna try for some blue gill through the ice as soon as the big lakes ice over, which should be pretty soon. |
