Hi Guys/Gals,

Newbie from Lake County here. I am origionally from Alabama (Mobile) and loved the fishing there. I have lived in Central Florida for about 7 years, but have not really gotten to do any pier fishing, so I am looking for any known good locations to go after the finned bastages.

I am looking forward to talking with you guys. Razz

Thanks for the info. I'm also glad that you could get a chuckle out of the name. I have been hesitant to go all the way to Tampa with gas the way it is....only to catch nothing. But, I may just give it a shot. Thanks!

Bohica, welcome and like Rip says, nice name. Been kinda the story of my life lately. Let us know when your coming, and the SSP is the place.

Thanks Fillet! I certainly will. I think that I am headed over to the East coast to fish the Jetty Park Pier this Sat., but I have some friends that want me to head on over to Tampa soon, so I'll let you know!

jetty park is a great place to catch mangrove snapper this time of year. fish the rocks by the part of the pier that angles out from the jetty with live greenies in the 3 to 4 inch range.
