Went to Upper Tampa Bay Park and walked all the way to the mouth of the creek.
Set up one pole with no cork and a shrimp and casted it out.
The other pole I tried a plug white with a red head. No bites.
Switched it to a shrimp and cork casted it out and wham, first trout. Funny how they bite when it's a closed season.
For three hours and two dozen shrimp the trout bite was on. The cork really won out the free lined shrimp.
Fun time. |
