I am looking for a nice spinning rod/reel i was thinking a penn spinfisher ssg or a penn slammer 360. And for a rod i wase thinking a penn slammer,quantum blue runner, or penn inshore I will be fishing for
carp
gar
spanish
flounder
pompano
bluefish
etc.

for all of those fish but carp (and possibly gar) you could probably use the same thing, for carp I'd get a heavier rig. I'm no pro when it comes to carping but those things get biggggggg.


For spinning reels I'd probably go with something slightly cheaper but of equal quality, like daiwa's, they've been making some good stuff lately in the $30-50 range. (I've noticed that you like top buy big shark rigs and I figured you might wanna get something a little cheaper and use the surplus cash to later purchases) But if you have the cash go for it buy a nicer rig.

That is not cheap as dirt to you wow i can get a combo at bass pro for 109.99 i will look at the daiwa ones. I am a big light tackle fan for SOME fish like carp i will mostly be sight casting i am still trying to get a carp bigger then my brother huge grass carp in florda on 10 pound line i am using 8 pound braid.
