Flying in to meet my girl friend for a couple of days at the Double Tree resort next week, she wants to relax on the beach I want to obstruct my view of the ocean with a couple of surf rods. Need advice on whats being caught so I know what gear to bring, also are there any recommended tackle shops nearby to get bait?
Thanks for any reply, I"ll post a report as soon as I get back to the snow. |

| Not to many people have been fishing the beaches. You may be able to get a few bluefish and trout. When the water warms, there will be many more surf reports. |

Does seem a little early for the surf, walked the pier at North Redington Monday morning nothing was reported caught. Walked a couple of miles on the beach south from the pier and couldn't find anyone hooking fish. I fished the surf Monday night and Tuesday morning with no luck. Most folks thought a couple more weeks of the warm weather would get things going. Great time never the less. |
