| I took my 2 boys out to Playalinda Beach this morning....hadn't been surf fishing for about a month because it had been quite slow. Fished the incoming tide from 6:30 to 9:30 this morning.......caught a keeper pompano, several large bluefish, 2 bonnethead sharks, some whiting, a catfish, and some pinfish. It was a blast.....we caught the bluefish on cut mullet, but everything else was caught on live sandfleas (yes, even the sharks)......it was a very fun morning on the beach. |

I'm in central fla, waiting for the surf to warm up enough...apparently, it's time! Looks like I'll be driving over to maybe NSB Weds. maybe down to the Nat'l Seashore...if I do it'll be parking area 5...if the fishing's off, the scenery's pretty good, lol. _________________ live and work in central fla, so i can go both ways...fishing-wise i mean, east coast or west. |
