This is from last summer but heres the report.

Pulled in and released one snook over 25lbs. And two more over ten. Also hooked up into a 25lb. tarpon. Just a little one while flyfishing a white fly. while fishing in a spot in bradenton florida. Kayaked the creek near my house and hit a mangrove section casted some babybass flukes. Made a few casts and got hooked up on my first. 26lbs. 3oz. Caught two more over ten pounds using tsunami in the middle of menhaden schools. All fish were released.

OK Snooker you got my interest up. Would you like to share your honey hole location? If you don't I can understand, just don't hurt to ask.

I don't mind, I had a thread that used to have it than people went there and some of the people put trash all over the place so i'm just trying to watch who i tell now. The trash only hurt one of our bass spots in a pond but me and my friend cleaned up the rest. Fillet check your pm and ill tell you.

we have also caught many redfish and seen some going all the way up to the bullreds. I have told people and they canoed or kayaked and pulled up up to 12 reds and sometimes more. The DOA Terroreyez work great(specially the golden(green ones with wite specks) ones)

Appreciate the info Snooker, gonna Google the site today and check it out. Man if I only had my Kayak yet. But I do still have an old canoe that needs a little work out. Again thanks, and when I get down there, I'll let you know.

Not much hunting. Ive got one 9 pointer for the season but thats it. The rest were squirrels. The florida weather is nicer compared to up here in the freezing foothills of the Georgia Mts. (University of Georgia - Athens, Ga) I lived about a mile or so walk from this great spot, and never really fished that much because back then the part we fish around wasn't cleared out and the fishing sucked. We took out all of the trees(Brazilian Peppers Twisted Evil ) in about a mile and a half area that was blocking the flow of the creek. Then the saltwater poured in and the fishing was great and less than a month after the fishing started getting good i was up in Georgia fishing two inch bluegill rather than 35lb. snook and reds. 20lb. Jacks and 100+lb. Tarpon. But its all good Cool Cool Cool
