We have been killing the sharks at the Apollo PP.

1. No, you can fish from the bank or a boat
2. There is a park in the back, only fisherman can be there at night.
3. Sharks (Many species) Large Jack, Cobia, Ladyfish, Catfish, Pompano and Tarpon.
4. Yea, it's alot of fun when you know what you are doing out there

Where is the park located? I have never been there and would like to shore fish. Any help is appreciated.

Just get on Apollo Beach Blvd and take it all the way back until you can either turn right or left, turn right and take it all the way down until you run into the park.

Did you ever get out there?

I never did get out there. The Spanish Mackerel started biting on the Skyway and that held my interest.
Is the fishing still good at Apollo this time of year?
If so What kind of fish can you catch?

Fishing is not best around the PP this time of year, you can usually catch some jacks nad tons of cats. The water gets to warm. Winter is your best bet.

My rod arm is getting rusty, I'm afraid it may freeze up.
Where is the best place to fish during the warm months if you don't have a boat? Is there a good warm water species to catch?
