Hi all,
New to the forum, actually stumbled on this site looking for the best fishing piers. We ended up just going over to Gandy Bridge and fished off the rocks on the Saint Pete side, south side of the bridge. We caught 3 of these bad bears and a few smaller puffers and pin fish within the 3 hours we were there. Just using a 4 foot bobber setup with live shrimp. We tried free lining but there are way to many rocks on the coastline. Im not a fishing expert by any means so it's not too bad, used to freshwater fishing for bass in Michigan lol. Anyways here's a pic of the one I caught!

| WTG, man that's a beauty. Did you keep one for dinner. Blackened Red Fish is hard to beat. |
