I like fall fishing best, probably because of the kingfish & mackeral runs. My pulse still quickens at the sound of a screaming drag when a smoker king strips a hundred yards of line off the spool in that initial run. Don't get me wrong - I love fishing, from 8 inch brookies on a dry fly in a mountain stream to 60lb bull dolphin in the gulf stream - but something about those forktails always gets my blood pumping.
as always

| Fall and winter I want to be in the woods when I have free time.. Soon as deer season is over.. I really want summer to get here quick to get back on the water. |
