newbie in orlando/st pete

Hey everyone newbie here i live in orlando and am in st pete every weekend so i get around central fl pretty good. after not fishing for 20yrs i have taken up the sport again, i have gone 4times so far this year, twice in port canaveral jetty park, once off the skyway bridge and once in a lake in orlando. would love to meet up with some real fisherman show me the ropes i have caught a few fish honestly though no real clue what im doing, what baits to use in situations, lures, weights, etci have 2 poles one little 5foot ugly stick which works suprisingly well and i got a 7foot offshore angler from basspro that has alot thicker line and im pretty sure can handle most anything saltwater throws at it. very interested in the wealth of knowledge i will learn here hopefully i can meet some of you in person. im Steve by the way.
