First time snook fishing at the pier this summer but as usual the bite is awesome! Greenbacks and shrimp are the key |

| Early morning Snook along the beach at Ft Desoto been tearing it up. Arti's, Greenbacks, Shrimp, it don't matter. We hit them from the boat, but you could walk down from the Gulf Pier parking area and do as well. Some nice size, not huge, but a good fight on light gear. |

Havn't hit any snook down there the past few nights, but there are some bigg bluefish and some nice gator trout in the shallows... 5 pound trout... Season is closed though. _________________ Jason
