I am buying yet another shark reel yeah. It is a toss up between the quantum aruba and shimano 2 speed TLD 50 They are both cheaper then the tiagra and international.

I really want to use a lever drag I have never had one and I might want to use it for swardfish off a head boat. Also i should have put it is going no a '6 50-100 stand up tuna type rod.

All that fancy lever drag stuff is over rated, it's too much reel for recreational use... Stick with basic reliable equipment.... I see people on the boats all the time get on with there AVET lever drags and other stuff and it doesn't do them much good... the reel doesn't catch the fish we do.... My saltist, and newells are start drag systems and I will put them up against any high dollor over priced reel any day..

Yeah a bigg tuna will do some damage....... at that point seems like line capacity becomes more important than some of the other features.... but the avets seem nice, but i watched a brand new avet get blown up after a few 10-15 pound gags grouper and probably a 20 lb AJ were caught on it after just a few times out on the boat....
