|
|
I have a question for you, I like to fish in a manmade lake where they stock seasonal fish. This time around it’s Trout (Nebraska & Tail walker Trout). Now for the question, is fishing for in a manmade lake harder or easier? Also if the Trout are fed certain food, do you still fish for them as if they were wild Trout? Or is there any difference at all.
If so what do you recommend?
If not what do you recommend?
Thanks for your help in advance. |

| If the lake is only 10 to 20 ft. deep fishing off the bottom. For shallow Use nightcrawlers & use a worm blower, which makes the worm float off the bottom. For deep Lakes that run from 30-500ft. deep, use bobber. I have learned that chumming the water with marshmallows. when they start hitting marshmallows, swap the worm with a marshmallow. These are what a know from fishing from shore. And U on't need heavy gear. hope this helps. |

I have bin fishing a small natural lake that is up to 200 feet we find the deepest spot then bring 4 people and drop worms at different depths if during the main part of the day all near the bottom 1 on the bottom and 1 right above the bottom and so forth till we get a bite then move all the baits there. _________________ quote of the week

| The trout stays near the bottom, U can also troll, a long as u go slow. U can use live or small soft plastic worms, small jerkbait plugs etc. I also know that in the fall the trout are more agressive. |

Thanks I forgot about that, they only good in shallow. I learned that the hard way, fishing all day wondering way I wasn't getting any hits & was pulling up empty hooks. |
