I know this is probably taboo, but we are staying on the Atlantic Coast and currently on Singer Island (Palm Beach Shores area). We were previously in Sebastian, Stuart area and Pompano Beach areas. When I ask where the fish are.. they are always at the opposite end of where I am.. so ,, where are you finding Pompano? Fished yesterday at Waveland Beach on Hutchinson Island (Port St Lucie area).. no luck, couple of blues and whiting, catfish... Was told that the Pompano are plentiful in the river by there, but I'm boatless.

Are they running up the coast or down the coast right now? I'd like to do some surf fishing and catch some, but striking out.

was at Jupiter Inlet a couple days ago and saw someone catching a lot of nice size blues off the south jetty. it was so crowded at the end of the jetty I avoided slinging my spoon with the rest of them.

weather appears to be great now, with not much wind and sunshine.
appreciate your help.

With the warmer weather, the pompano will start to invade the local bridges and bays. Doc jigs and fiddler crabs will produce.
