Fishing Knot Tips

What Makes A Good Knot?

Always take these three thing in consideration:

  1. Select a suitable knot for the purpose.
  2. Fashion the not properly
  3. Always pull the not down snugly, and with even pressure.

That last step is too often neglected by fisherman. The majority of angling knots are likely to slip and fail unless they are drawn tight to begin with. Be aware, too, that even if you “understand” the instructions for a new knot, you should practice its tying a number of times-to train your fingers and to help make sure you’ll remember it the next time you go fishing
